Love the New Baby Clothes at Baby Gap

Oh, the sweet little babes wrapped in pastels and soft cotton knits and outfits printed with baby animals.  I love, love, love sweet baby clothes like the new baby clothes at Baby Gap.  The new circus collection is full of cuddly outfits detailed with sweet animals.  The animal hats are adorable.  Got to have it.  My boy is no longer a babe though, so alas I'll keep dreaming.   It is hard to choose, but I think Villa Centinale is my favorite baby girl collection.  Many of the pieces are stunning.  I found many items in each of the baby girl collections that I loved.  I have always said that if I had a girl I would be trouble with the shopping.  I used to sew dresses, and I would surely start doing that again if I had a girl!  My sweet baby niece is going to be one week old tomorrow.  Looking forward to meeting her soon.

Here's to spring and my little guy....

New Baby Niece

Life goes by in a flash if your not looking.  Two and a half years have gone by since my precious baby born was born.  I abandoned this blog in part to focus on our time together, but have since been re-inspired to write about life with a baby.  My newest baby niece was born yesterday and she is the inspiration behind this blog renewal.  She and her family live three hours away, so we will visit when the family is settled back home, but I wanted to send some love in the form of flowers and found this beautiful wreath to celebrate her birth.  Made with boxwood, tallow berries, and pink ammobium, and tied with a pink ribbon, it is the perfect little gift to welcome baby.

I'll also be sending out a cutsie baby girl outfit in pink with a sweet elephant applique for my niece and Lansinoh lanolin and nursing pads for mom.  I couldn't have lived without my Lansinoh lanolin and nursing pads.  Here's to all the joy that babies bring to the world!

GRACIOUS STYLE NOW OFFERS BABY BEDDING

I am absolutely in love with Gracious Style’s baby bedding!  From traditional pinks and blues to modern cars and paper dolls, each collection is made with beautiful, heirloom quality detail and natural fiber fabrics.

If you are looking for neutral baby bedding, consider the Wooly Sheep Baby Bedding collection, with it’s lively lambs, daisies, and yellow embroidery, it will make for an inviting nest for your little one and works well with many décor themes.

I am drawn to the Rosebuds Baby Bedding collection, which is sweetly enhanced with frilly ruffles, perfect for any little princess.  And don’t forget a cozy blanket or two for snuggling.

The St. Moritz Blanket, made of soft, brushed cotton, will easily become your baby’s favorite.  Available in blue, butter, pink, or white.

BURLEIGH MAKES MY MORNING SPECIAL

I try to take a little extra effort to make daily routines feel singular.  Each morning I look forward to my cup of coffee.  The act of pouring fresh brewed coffee into my Blue Calico Burleigh cup is a moment I treasure.  Besides the quality of the coffee, what makes this morning routine so special is the beauty of my Blue Calico Burleigh cup.  Burleigh pottery is known as transfer ware, a process in which the pattern is applied to tissue paper from copper engravings and then appled to the biscuit glazed pottery before the final firing.  This transferring process has been in use for over 200 years and is labor intensive.  Burleigh is the last pottery in the world making transfer ware pottery.  Each piece of Burleigh pottery is decorated by hand using this transfer method, hence the variations that make this pottery unique and distinctive.

AUTUMN IS HERE!

Leaf peepers are touring New England, apple harvests are abounding, and pumpkins are decorating many homes. My family and I recently visited Applecrest Orchard in Hampton Falls, NH for an afternoon of apple picking. One of the most popular features of the orchard is the tractor drawn hayrides that take you through acres of fields and orchards to the optimum apple picking spot of the day. My 14 month old son was thrilled. I loved viewing the lucsious apples hanging from the trees. Once we were walking in the apple orchard, it was quite easy to lose sight of our extended family as the children ran from tree to tree. The apples were delicious and we also enjoyed hot cider donuts during the hayride. I did manage to save a few donuts for my morning coffee. The apple pie I baked the next day was delicious! I'm ready for another.

Time Flies with New Baby

Well, my baby is now 14 months old and I don't know where the time went! Well, I do in fact, but prior to the birth of my son, I did not realize how all consuming the first year would be, hence no posts about all of the baby products we have used. We are now in the exciting toddler stage of childhood. I'm venture back into the work world while my son is finding some independence. Every day is an adventure!

Welcome to My Baby Nest!

My Baby Nest was created to share my baby stories and favorite baby products with other moms.  My baby is due July 14th (in just 7 days!), so I will be sharing my new mom experiences as well as reviewing the baby products I have accumulated for this little being.  During my pregnancy I spent the majority of my time researching products for safety, durability, and usability.  My focus was on creating a safe, eco-friendly environment for my baby.  I plan to share my findings here on My Baby Nest.  From diapers, cribs, bedding, clothing to car seats and strollers, my favorites finds will be posted.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and hope you will share yours, too!
